The modern firm can trace its roots back to 1885, when the Victorian solicitor Theophilus Rowland established his practice in Spring Gardens, Manchester. Since that time, it has grown consistently through a series of mergers and acquisitions to create the firm that it is today, with 130 staff and 9 equity partners, still based in Manchester’s commercial centre.
We now maintain the development of the firm through organic growth and carefully planned acquisitions.
