Chris is a dual qualified solicitor having also been admitted to practice in Australia as both a solicitor and a barrister. He was a partner in one of the largest national law firms in Australia and acted for the Federal Government in its review of the management of intellectual property by the Commonwealth Science and Industry Research Organisation (CSIRO)

He has a long background in industry having specialised in intellectual property matters as an in-house solicitor for a major pharmaceuticals and chemicals multi national firm as well as for a Swiss based textile machinery company. He has spent substantial periods of time working overseas in the US, Australia and the Far East as well as in Europe.
 
Chris holds a Masters degree in intellectual property and has acted on behalf of household name clients including Woolworths, Sony, Europcar, Ilford Film and Russell Hobbs.
